Blueberry Tea

Blueberry Tea Cocktail Recipe

This is officially the perfect cocktail for those cold winter days when you’re craving something delicious to warm you up. It’s the definition of cozy – it’s like wrapping yourself with a warm blanket, which was why this was the perfect cocktail to sip at while we made our arm-knitting yarn blanket.

Now, if you’ve never had a Blueberry Tea before then you’re in for a sweet sweet surprise. It’s a simple cocktail, calling only for Amaretto, Grand Marnier and Earl Grey Tea, but the end result is a really complex flavour. It’s no wonder this bevy dominates the specialty coffee and tea menus at restaurants and cafes.

Spoiler alert: this drink doesn’t actually have blueberries in it, but there is a fruity taste reminiscent of blueberries. So if you’re here with the expectation of blueberries, you will not be disappointed.

  1. Add the amaretto and orange liqueur to a brandy snifter or mug.
  2. Top with Earl Grey tea and garnish with an orange wheel.
