We’re pretty stoked on this martini. It’s super chocolatey but also nice and boozy. This makes it perfect for Easter, because it’s always fun to get buzzed and look for hidden chocolate.
We had tons of fun with the presentation on this one too. We love garnishes that you can eat, and biting in to a chocolate egg seemed like the perfect way to finish this cocktail.
- 1oz vodka
- 1.5oz Laura Secord Chocolate Liqueur
- Splash of cream
- Chocolate Syrup (Optional)
- Easter Egg Garnish (Optional)
Using your chocolate syrup, line your martini glass with a fun design. Be as creative as you’d like! Then simply pour all of your ingredients into a shaker over ice and give it a good shake. Strain into your decorated martini glass. To garnish I sliced the bottom of a chocolate Easter egg very carefully with a serrated blade and used the slit to balance it on the edge of the glass. I saved the aluminum wrapping that came on the egg to bring a pop of colour to the garnish and it worked will in ensuring the egg stayed securely on the rim. This drink would definitely make the Easter bunny jealous AF.
Enjoy!
