Rosé Lemonade

Rose Lemonade Cocktail

This is the perfect drink to sip outdoors, whether you’re having a picnic, a beach party or just sitting on your balcony or in your backyard. It’s not as sweet as we thought it would be, it’s actually really light and refreshing.

You may think rosé and lemonade is a strange combination, but trust us. It’s kind of like a mimosa, but better!

First, make your lemonade. You can use store-bought lemonade but we wanted to make our own because we didn’t want it to be overly sweet. We started by boiling a small amount of water. Then, we added the two tablespoons of honey to our mason jar and poured enough boiling water over our honey to dissolve it, about ¾ of a cup. Swirl your mason jar until your honey dissolves. Juice your three lemons. If you like pulp you can juice your lemons right into your mason jar, but we decided to juice our lemons in to a large bowl and then strain it in to our mason jar. Once you’ve added your lemon juice, fill your mason jar to the top with water. Chill.

Grab a cup of your choosing (a wine or rock glass works well), and add a couple of ice cubes. Then, fill your glass halfway with sparkling rosé and top with lemonade. You can add edible flowers or sliced lemons as a garnish. That’s it!
