This cocktail is perfect for when you’re craving something refreshing and light. It’s also great as a mocktail but you know, everything’s better with gin, right? We made this cocktail during our at home spa day because we were inspired by the idea of spa water, which is usually fruit or vegetable infused water meant to bring hydration to the next level.
You already know how we feel about tea cocktails, and this one is no different. The green tea is a perfect pairing with both gin and cucumber. We will definitely be making these again.
- 1 oz gin
- 1 oz honey syrup (instructions below)
- Pot of green tea, chilled (we used four tea bags and a medium sized teapot – if you feel like getting fancy you can use jasmine green tea for added depth)
- Cucumber, sliced (we used about ½ cucumber for three cocktails)
Start by making your honey syrup. Mix equal parts honey and water in a small pot. Heat over the stove until the honey dissolves in the water, let cool. Grab the glassware of your choosing (any type of tall glass works) and fill with ice. Then add your gin followed by your honey syrup. From there, grab your slice cucumber and add as many as your heart desires. Top with green tea.
