Turmeric Pineapple Smoothie

Feel Fresh with a DIY Face Mask

We’re deep in our detox month, which means we’re off the booze and sipping on chaga teamatcha lattes and this delicious smoothie.

Turmeric is having a major moment right now, which isn’t surprising as it’s crazy good for you. It’s packed with amino acids, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids and more, not to mention the fact that it’s anti-inflammatory and immune boosting. If you’ve never had turmeric before, it has a pretty distinct flavour that can be super rich. So, we packed our smoothie with pineapple. The sweetness of the pineapple makes the smoothie super light and refreshing. We then topped it off with banana, dates, cinnamon, hemp and chia seeds.

We sipped this glowing bevy while hydrating our skin with a DIY face mask, and we felt pretty damn good afterwards.

Makes two smoothies.

Add all ingredients to a blender and process until smooth. Pour into cups and serve with a paper or metal straw. Cheers!
