Best Day of the Week

Warm Up With This Hot Toddy Recipe

Hot Toddy Recipe

Its winter, so we’re craving warm cocktails. It gets crazy cold in Toronto so there are days where being outside for even a couple of minutes is brave. But when possible, we try and embrace the weather with an outdoor activity like we did with our skiing adventure this week. But we always need something to warm us up afterwards – which is exactly where a hot toddy comes in.

Hot toddy’s are super simple to make – it’s just whisky, lemon juice, honey and boiling water. But the flavours work together so well. You’ll be warm in no time, we promise.

This drink is also great when you have a cold – from a literal scientific perspective. A hot toddy eases your congestion, helps you sleep and fights off infection. So next time you’ve got a throat tickle, let this drink swoop in to save you. But just one, ok?

Add the whisky, honey, and lemon juice in a mug. Top it off with hot water and stir until the honey is dissolved. Cheers!
