Eating pancakes reminds me of being a kid again. Alyssa and my mom (good ol' Linda) used to make pancakes every Sunday for a good portion of our childhood and every time I eat them I'm filled with the warm fuzzies.
For my birthday weekend we decided to do a full on scavenger hunt. We hadn't done a proper one since we were in high school, but they're wicked fun, especially when you've got a big group of people.
Canada Day fell on a Sunday this year so we went all out. We've gathered those nearest and dearest for an epic celebration, incorporating all of our favourite things about this beautiful country.
You can totally go the traditional tie dye route, meaning get a kit and hang tight for 24 hours while your masterpiece dries and sets. Or, you can take the quick and dirty approach like we did.
