Make Special Weed Brownies

Roast Pumpkin Seeds (Three Ways!)

Sure, sex is great, but have you ever eaten a weed brownie, watched some Planet Earth and ordered an entire pizza? If not, then it’s time you did.

We live in Canada where marijuana is totally legal, so it’s been much easier to bake up a storm these days. And making edibles is a lot easier than you might think. All you need to do is make cannabis butter, sub it for the regular butter your favourite brownie recipe calls for and bam – you’ve got some extra special brownies.

Eating edibles is a completely different high than smoking – and we cannot stress enough that a little goes a long way. If you’ve never had an edible before, please proceed with caution! It can take a couple of hours for the high to set in, especially if you don’t eat it on an empty stomach. As a result, we recommend starting with a very small portion on an empty stomach and waiting at least two to three hours before considering eating any more. As well, if the brownie recipe you choose calls for a substantial amount of butter we recommend subbing in only a portion of cannabis butter along with regular old butter so your brownies won’t be so potent. If you’re looking for more information on how to approach edibles as a first-timer, we have a much more thorough post about it here.

Follow the instructions laid out in our cannabis butter guide, use it to bake brownies based on your recipe of choice and you’ve got special brownies. We recommend freezing what you don’t eat within one week.

Got pasties and munchies at the same time? We’ve been there, so we created the perfect drink to accompany that body buzz. Meet the cereal milk latte. Yes, it’s exactly what you think it is and as good as you imagine it to be. Grab the recipe here.
