Terry’s Chocolate Orange Martini
It just isn’t Christmas unless we indulge in a Terry’s Chocolate Orange. They were always part of holiday celebrations growing up (and almost always in our stockings) so they’re super nostalgic for us. Which is why we wanted to capture the flavour of Terry’s in cocktail form. And this isn’t even a sponsored post – we just love us some Terry’s. Whacking that thing on Christmas morning is the best.
Not everyone is a fan of the chocolate orange combination – generally people either love it or hate it. But if chocolate orange is your thing you are going to LOVE this cocktail. It’s definitely on the sweeter side, making it a great option for a Christmas Eve nightcap or to serve with dessert. And with only three ingredients that just might already be on your bar cart, it’s super easy to make.
- 1 oz vodka
- 1 oz Chocolate Liqueur
- 1 oz Grand Marnier
NOTE: if you like your cocktails on the sweeter side, we recommend 1 1/2 oz of Chocolate Liqueur and only 1/2 oz of vodka. If you prefer a slightly less potent cocktail, try adding the mixture to a cup of Earl Grey tea (it’s yummy!).
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice, shake vigorously for 10 seconds and strain into a martini or coupe glass. Cheers!
