It’s almost December, but we’re already on the holiday cocktail bandwagon. It’s moving at full speed and we’re not upset.
Some Christmas cocktails can be super heavy and decadent (hello, eggnog), but we wanted to create something that was light, refreshing while we got crafty with our DIY advent calendar. So, we concocted a sangria with all our favourite winter flavours: orange, cranberry and cinnamon.
Instead of wine, we swapped in prosecco, which you know at this point we’ll put in just about anything. You’ll find this sangria goes down super easy. It’s the perfect pairing for any kind of winter craft, gift wrapping – you name it.
- 1 bottle of prosecco
- 3 oz of Triple Sec
- 3/4 oz of Goldschläger
- 1/2 cup of cranberries
- orange juice
- cranberry juice
- 1 starfruit, sliced
- 1/2 orange, sliced
- Pitcher
- Ice
Start by filling your pitcher with ice, then add the bottle of prosecco. Add the triple sec, Goldschläger and fruit. Add equal parts cranberry and orange juice to fill. The longer the fruit sits in the mixture the more fruity and delicious it gets. Cheers!
