Eating pancakes reminds me of being a kid again. Alyssa and my mom (good ol' Linda) used to make pancakes every Sunday for a good portion of our childhood and every time I eat them I'm filled with the warm fuzzies.
For my birthday weekend we decided to do a full on scavenger hunt. We hadn't done a proper one since we were in high school, but they're wicked fun, especially when you've got a big group of people.
You can totally go the traditional tie dye route, meaning get a kit and hang tight for 24 hours while your masterpiece dries and sets. Or, you can take the quick and dirty approach like we did.
We felt like getting crafty and yarn wall hangings are all the rage. And it’s no wonder, they’re gorgeous and super easy to customize when it comes to the colours, size and how you choose to trim the ends.
Sometimes all you need is a little R&R, you know? We decided to have a slow day together and do an at-home spa day.
Guys, spring is finally here! If you live somewhere with proper seasons like us, then you know how exciting spring is. Waking up to sunny days again makes me stoked about life. I want to do everything possible outside (probably because I’m super low on Vitamin D as a result of this brutal winter).
We cannot express how much we love a good games night. Honestly, some of our favourite nights ever have consisted of a couple friends and an awesome mix of games. There’s something about the competition that unleashes our inner child.
Okay, we got really excited when we discovered how easy it was to make bath bombs at home and immediately added it to our Sunday Funday queue. Reason being, bath bombs are pretty. They’re also awesome to have on hand for when you’re having one of those days that only a bath (and a glass of wine, let’s be real ) can fix.
