Frosé

Frose Wine Cocktail

You’ve probably been hearing a lot about frosé right now. And there’s a reason for it. It’s so delicious it might just be the summer’s hottest cocktail trend.

What is frosé you ask? It’s exactly what you think it is – rosé that’s blended with all your favourite things to create an adult slushie so perfect it seems like it was plucked right out of your dreams. It’s everything you could ever need or want in life.

We blended our rosé with watermelon and raspberries but you can get creative as you want with the additions. We’ve also seen strawberries, peaches and other melons added in to the mix. The moral of the story is there’s no wrong way to do it, you’re limited only by your imagination.

You’ll need to prepare for this one overnight. Divide the bottle of rosé between two ice cube trays and place in freezer. Next, cube the watermelon and also place in the freezer along with the raspberries (or just use frozen raspberries like we did). When you’re ready to have some drinks, grab everything out of the freezer and place in the blender. The rosé ice cubes should be fairly slushy, but if the blender has trouble starting because there isn’t enough liquid then you can add a small amount of water (or any extra rosé you have on hand), just to get it going. Pour into glasses and serve with straws (depending on your glassware you may want to cut straws in half). We garnished these with mini watermelon slices.
