Six DIY Christmas Gifts
Christmas is around the corner, so we spent the day making Christmas gifts to dole out to our friends and fam.
We all have a ton of people in our lives we want to spread the love to, so we’ve got six different DIY gifts, guaranteed at least one of them will suit every person on your list.
Christmas Movie Themed Chocolate Bark
For the person in your life who loves binging Christmas movies and eating chocolate (so, pretty much everyone). We’ve got six different movie-themed bark recipes: Home Alone, Love Actually, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Miracle on 34th Street, Elf and The Grinch. Make ’em all, or a batch based on the recipients fave Christmas movie. Learn how to make ’em here.
DIY Spiced Rum
This spiced rum recipe is waaaaay better than anything store bought. For one, it doesn’t have any added sugar so it doesn’t pack as bad of a hangover. Wrap it up with some eggnog as a hostess gift and you’ll be the guest of honour. Learn how to make it here.
Christmas Ornaments
These ornaments are super easy to make but look gorgeous. We took clear glass balls and filled them with classic Christmas decorations like gold stars, tinsel and confetti. Pack them up in a bundle of three or six or give them as singles in a stocking stuffer. Our how-to is here.
Roasted Chestnut Cocktail Syrup
Gift the Christmas tradition of chestnuts roasting on an open fire with this cocktail syrup. Pair it with a bottle of rye or whisky and some bitters to make our Chestnut Old Fashioned and you’ll be the fave party guest. Grab the recipe here.
Gingerbread Granola
This one is a crowd pleaser. It not only tastes exactly like Christmas , it’s also the crunchiest granola ever. It’s perfect for the person in your life who’s trying not to eat too many cookies and prefers another kind of tast gift. The recipe is here.
DIY Scented Candles
Everyone loves a candle, so when in doubt on what to get that special someone, this is the gift to go with. Plus, you can customize the scent by choosing any essential oil or blend you’d like. It’s really that easy! Our tutorial is here.
We had to make sure our DIY spiced rum was delicious, so we tested it out with some eggnog while we crafted away.
