We’re deep in Halloween celebrations as soon as October 1 rolls around. We’re going especially all-in this year given last year’s Halloween was an absolute bust due to the pandemic (which was devastating because it fell on a Saturday during a full moon the night the clocks went back – UGH!).
If you don’t already know, we’re big fans of BINGO (see our Stranger Things BINGO and Rom Com BINGO) – so we knew we needed to create some form of Halloween BINGO this year. Scary movie BINGO was an easy decision, because we’re watching scary movies all month long (we even have an entire post dedicated to our 31 top movie picks!) and scary movies, much like rom com’s, can be totally formulaic.
The idea is that you can throw on just about any scary movie to play our BINGO, but the more classic, the better. Scream, for instance, would be a great pick – and you can even play our Scream drinking game simultaneously for added fun. Any 90’s flick is encouraged really.

- A spooky Halloween bevy is a nice addition. We recommend our Dusk ‘Til Dawn cocktail, but we have lots of options to choose from here
- Throw on the film of your choice.
- Pass out scorecards to everyone playing.
- Give each player a BINGO dabber or chips.
- Give the centre square of the scoreboard, marked “free” a dab.
- As you’re watching the movie, give the space on your scorecard a dab if the item listed in the BINGO space happen.
- Continue playing until someone gets five dabs in a row on their scorecard, either vertical, horizontal or diagonal – and shout out BINGO if you’re the one to get it.
NOTE: if no one gets BINGO by the end of the movie, you can throw on another movie and keep playing the game. These BINGO cards can be revisited all month long!
