Sex on the Beach is a classic cocktail that’s stood the test of time for a reason – it’s delicious. There are many different stories about how the cocktail got its name but we’d like to think it’s because it’s so good – it’s as good as sex on the beach. Another theory is that if you have enough of them on a beach your chances of having sex increase. Either way, the name is fitting.
But we actually paired it with a very non-sexual activity – our sandcastle making adventure. And we gotta say, it felt like the perfect combo. This cocktail can also be paired with a beach book – we’ve got a list of our favourite options here.
- 1 1/2 oz Vodka
- 1/2 oz Peach Liqueur
- 1 1/2 oz Orange Juice
- 1 1/2 oz Cranberry Juice
- Fill a hi-ball with ice
- Add the above ingredients in the order listed above
- Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry (or two, or four)
- Drink several
