Spiked Pumpkin Spice Latte
Eat your heart out Starbucks! We’ve got the recipe for the perfect pumpkin spice latte, courtesy of a secret ingredient (well, if you must know it’s Pumpkin Spice Baileys).
Pumpkin Spice Baileys is seasonal, but we wish it was around all year because it is the perfect addition to a morning or afternoon coffee. It adds just the right amount of sweetness and fall flavours. We’re eternally here for it.
We love this drink because it’s super easy to make. It’s essentially an Americano topped with Baileys and Kahlúa, but if you don’t have an espresso maker you can also use coffee. It’s fancy and indulgent, making it the perfect way to start off any fall #SundayFunday.
- An americano (2 shots of espresso and boiling water) or coffee
- 3/4 oz of Pumpkin Spice Baileys
- 3/4 oz of Kahlúa
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Caramel sauce (also option, but c’mon, live a little!)
Start by making your espresso or brewing your coffee. Add the two shots of espresso to your mug followed by boiling water, leaving a couple of inches at the top. Then add the Pumpkin Spice Baileys and Kahlúa. Top with whipped cream and caramel sauce. Proceed to live your best life.
