The Boogie Man
We all know about this Boogie Man character, but have any of us ever seen him? Or is he simply legend? Word has it that basically parents everywhere developed the concept of the Boogie Man to make sure they’re kids behaved (literally this transcended cultures, geography and generations). For example, “eat your goddamn peas or the Boogie Man is gonna get you tonight. He eats the face off kids who don’t like peas.” I mean, that’s aggressive, but you get the gist of it. Kids everywhere consumed peas after this moment in time.
Well, we wanted to bring the Boogie Man to life for real. Except in drink form, to serve up at our Halloween party (if you’re planning one, here’s how to do so like a boss). Thus, the Boogie Man was born.
Made with Bailey’s, Creme de Menthe and Blue Curaçao, this shot is scary delicious. It sounds like a whole lotta flavours going on in one go, but trust us, it works. If you’re looking for other shots to serve at your Halloween party, you’re in luck. Check out our Brain Hemorrhage shot here.
- Baileys
- Blue curaçao
- Creme de Menthe
Fill the shot glass 1/3 of the way full with creme de menthe. Next, slowly fill the glass 2/3 of the way with Baileys. It helps to use the back of a spoon and poor the Baileys over that and have it slowly trickle into the glass. Finally, use your spoon again to fill the shot glass with Blue curaçao. Then, take your goddamn shot or the Boogie Man will come after ya.
